There is also a 'crag' shortly before arriving in the Kotka hospital. You get there by driving from Helsinki, following the signs for the hospital and then turning right one or two intersections before the hospital. You follow a slightly curving road and the crag is right next to a parking lot of a school (I think it's a school of some kind). And I mean right next to the parking lot, you virtually belay on the asphalt.
The crag is partly result of rock processing (probably to make room for the parking lot), but mostly natural rock. Offering only trad climbing (or bouldering at the bottom), the cliff is more than 10 meters high at the highest point, slightly less at the lowest. Possibility for top anchors is very limited on the right (higher) side of the cliff. Some of the lines seem very hard, some are easier. I've only climbed a few lines on the left side, but there appears to be some activity at the crag, judging from chalk marks.
If anyone has any information about the routes and grades on this crag, please do post your facts here.
